At Aasra care, we recognise the importance of providing a warm, safe, and comfortable home for our young people, we aim to plan and nurture within this space as only a family would. Having a garden to relax and play in, school photos on shelves, cherished books on a bookshelf and toys or gadgets in the living room to play with. A bedroom which they can personalise to create a space where they have privacy, feel secure and can enjoy spending time. We value mealtimes together to cook, bond and talk about their day at school and what they would like to do at the weekend.

Abacus House can accommodate up to two children and young people of any gender between the ages of 8 and up to 18 years old (on admission), who experience social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties along with poor mental health.Abacus House is a newly decorated and homely space in a contemporary style with solid, comfortable, and attractive furnishings and décor.  With modern appliances and study equipment it is designed to make it a desirable home for a young person to live in. It has its own garden, with a delightful decking area, so that essential outdoors play/relaxation space is always available. Abacus House is intended to be a home in all possible ways.
